Ball + Cup is a Vancouver-based ceramic studio of Billy Cheung started in 2016. Billy began making functional and sculptural works shaped by an experimental approach to form, texture, and material transformation. Drawing from a background in lithographic printing and painting, Billy’s practice is process-driven and exploratory. His work investigates surface, structure, and the dialogue between control and spontaneity. The resulting pieces are designed for spaces that value forward-thinking design and environments that encourage ideas to unfold.
